Several Missouri Western students and faculty members participated in the 5th annual Undergraduate Art History Symposium hosted by the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art in collaboration with Missouri Western. Student Christian Banez presented his paper “Women in the Frame: Pop (Icon) Britney and San Vitale’s Empress Theodora Mosaic.” Students Paige Donnohue and Emily Zawodny-Walkup moderated morning and afternoon sessions. Assistant Professor of English Dr. Marianne Kunkel’s students performed poetry at the conclusion of the morning session. And finally, Dr. Madeline Rislow, assistant professor of art, has been a driving force in putting the symposium together and leading the selection process.
