The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities recognized the following two students for academic success in political science.

Max Miller was recognized as the Outstanding Senior in Political Science. Miller currently serves as the President of the Missouri Western Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, in addition to serving as the Secretary-General of the Great Plains Model Arab League. He also presented original research at the Pacific Northwest Political Science Associations Annual Meeting in November, 2020. Miller is an academically outstanding student and a clear representative of the great work that can be done in the discipline of political science.

Dillon Schreckler was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate in Political Science. He is a member of the Missouri Western chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha and has recently completed his senior capstone on judicial decision-making in the U.S. Supreme Court. Following his graduation in May, he will continue to demonstrate his academic skills at one of the law schools to which he was accepted.
