The Center for Academic Support has released the Supplemental Instruction (SI) schedule for fall 2021 for BIO 105, BIO 106, CHE 111, PHL 230 and PSC 101. Supplemental Instruction provides an opportunity for students in an SI-supported class to study collaboratively in an inclusive and casual setting. Students get to build a working relationship with their class peers where they can be comfortable and more open to ask the questions they may otherwise feel inhibited to ask in a larger lecture class. Facilitated by an SI Leader, (a near-peer), sessions are planned to expose students to organizational and study strategies. In the sessions, SI leaders engage learning by discussing, reviewing, and applying concepts to help students prepare for quizzes and tests.
